Nestled in the quiet town of Norfork, in north-central Arkansas, the lodge is surrounded by the magnificent Ozark National Forest and two enticing rivers, one within walking distance from your room.

But what about your fishing experience?

First, every Guide is a veteran angler, experienced, licensed, insured, and motivated to give you a fishing experience of a lifetime. They know the waters from top to bottom and precisely how to fish them, regardless of the time of year. Whether you are fishing as a small group of anglers, among a large group, or have special needs, our Guides work together to make your fishing experience more pleasurable. You are treated as you should be … our VIP! In the morning our guides will meet you at the dock and start of your fishing with a quick discussion of what you are wanting to experience and then a brief orientation of what you can expect. Your morning will be spent fishing the beautiful White and Norfork Rivers with your Guide putting you right on the fish you came here to catch.

Ever notice that food tastes and smells better when you are eating outdoors? Just about the time you think you have experienced it all, your Guide will surprise you with a brief stop on an island or sandy beach where he will clean and cook some of the trout you caught that morning for your lunch. While you are sharing memories of the fish you caught and the ones that got away, your Guide will prepare you a lunch of fresh fried trout, beans, and fried potatoes that you will enjoy while you listen to the tall tales and the sound of the river rushing by. But your day is only half over!

Then in the afternoon, your Guide will take you on to your afternoon of fishing with your newly formed fishing skills. Make sure to take lots of photos because your friends at home will find it hard to believe all you were able to do and how many fish you caught now that you are truly a trout angler. Do you want to take some of your tout home? Just let your Guide know and he will clean and package them for you to take back to the Lodge. There we will refrigerate or freeze your catch for your trip home.
